Start by setting up at least one AI provider. Google AI is free and perfect for beginners.

Create Your First Taxonomy

Define what you're looking for in patents. For example, "Innovation" or "Sustainability".

Example: Name: "AI Technology", Definition: "Patents related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, or neural networks"

Add Patent Numbers

Add patents one by one or use bulk upload for multiple patents at once.

Supported formats: US1234567, US-1234567-A1, 1234567, etc.

Run Analysis

Click "Analyze All" to start the AI analysis. The system will fetch patent details and analyze relevance.

Note: Analysis may take a few minutes depending on the number of patents and AI provider response times.

❌ API Key Not Working

Problem: "Invalid API key" or authentication errors

Solutions:

Verify your API key is copied correctly (no extra spaces)
Check if your API key has the correct permissions
Ensure your API key hasn't expired
For Google AI: Key should start with "AIza"
For OpenAI/DeepSeek: Key should start with "sk-"

⚠️ Analysis Taking Too Long

Check your internet connection
